Monterey for two days...

Within a very short drive we arruve in Monterey and head downtown or to Fisherman's Wharf, our destination for an early dinner soon after our arrival from the Big Sur experience.

The seals have taken over!

Day two was a leisurely drive through Monterey and Cannery Row, along the coast to Pacific Grove.  Ocean View Blvd. then Sunset Drive go all the way to Pebble Beach Golf Course which can be accessed by the 17 Mile Drive.  Non-residents have to pay a $10 toll.  We have done this several times in years past.  The views are spectacular...especially if you are a golfer, which we're not.

Nice of all these signs to line up properly

Now we're heading back to home territory, Half Moon Bay and Petaluma.  Thus our circle is completed!

You saw a lot on this circle.
I do remember driving that toll road a long time ago, but it was less than $10 then.

Great photos! I didn't know the seals would be able to climb up onto the deck railings like that. Interesting!!

Donna, I stood there for the longest time hoping to catch one climbing onto the deck railing! Don't know how they do it...
