Before the Moon...
We drove the backroads of Sonoma County for hours looking for a proper moon staging area. This event was taken very seriously though we did forget the Margaritas. Wineries were plentiful and would have offered lovely foreground but closed at 5 p.m. And wine tasting is not inexpensive these days. I remember way back when it was "almost free"...as the vendors in Mexico say.

When I was younger wine tasting was free. Pretty rolling hills in the wine country. And cute cows.
