We had a great 2+ weeks at the Park of the Sierras near Yosemite. We love the uniqueness and layout of this park with its winding hilly roads that retain most of the natural vegetation. Our one drive into Yosemite was somewhat marred by preventive fires burning alongside the road, a necessity before summer winds, but visibility was hazy. This did not deter the busloads of tourists vying for position at all the major overlooks however. We enjoyed a quiet Easter with Howard preparing a delicious leg of lamb on our little rotisserie with enough leftover for come creative menus culminating with a lamb/mango curry that combined the best of 2 recipes we found online. I am now a curry convert.
