Our destination for the next two weeks...The Pt. Hudson Marina & RV Park in Port Townsend, Washington. We are parked in one of the two boondock sites...right at the intersection of Puget Sound and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Our view is a steady stream of clouds, sun, fog and every form of marine traffic imaginable, constantly in flux. These are views from our front yard....
The entrance to the marina |
Not us unfortunately! |
The town, both up and down (yes, there is an uptown), is an easy walk from our marina location and over the next two weeks (minus a couple of days) we'll show off some of the local color and attractions.
An early evening walk around the neighborhood |
What makes this even nicer is we are joined for a few days by friends Bob and Kathie of Being Where We Are. That's our two motorhomes featured as her cover photo. Ooops!
But now it's time for Happy Hour!

Oh how glorious...that picture of the sailboat made me catch my breath...so beautiful. You must have a wonderful time taking this all in.
Great memories of that great park! It's so fun to see you on someone else's blog...
Great light on the marina shot. You have a wonderful spot there.
Nice views. I've stayed in that harbor.
That is a great place to be. I would guess that you are not in a hurry to leave.enjoy it as long as you can.
Beautiful spot and you take wonderful photos! I might need to travel up that way before I turn tail for New Mexico again.
I stopped at the Columbia store in Bend, but didn't find anything I couldn't live without. ;-)
